This Love

 I just want to wake up and know

that this world is just a dream-well,

more like a nightmare.

That one day I’ll wake up and everything will be okay.

Then again, I know that one day I’ll be,

safe in Your arms, surrounded by Your love.

I searched on Earth for a love that made me feel…

Everything I wanted,

but now I know, the only love that can fill this heart

is one that comes from You.

Your love is always true,

always pure and strong.

This love is now my song,

my every breath of life.

I’ll never stop telling

how wondrous this love is.

Although I may,

at times need to stop and say.

“My God is in control,

His love will never fail."
