Think about it

This isn't really a poem, and I don't really remember what made me write it, except that I was upset about a bunch of stuff so I just started writing-and this is what I ended up with

I am beautiful, created by God and designed to live to bring honor and glory to Him.

Smile, you look so much better when you do, it conveys God’s love better that the tears you shed in self-pity.

Don’t be afraid to laugh, let people see who you really are, don’t separate yourself.

Love, just as God has loved you. He died to give you everlasting life. No, more than that, He bore our sins to provide for us a life with Him after death.

Go back to the cross; let the burdens of this life, all of this pressure roll away and know that you don’t have to carry this pain around.

Even when I don’t make that grade, or get that part, or aren’t the best; know that I tried my best and God is in control FOREVER

When people say things that can hurt don’t take it so personally, usually they mean nothing by it and if they meant something mean than they probably aren’t the best people to listen to anyhow.

Don’t continue to build up walls around your heart; keeping people out just hurts. You need friends and you need to be yourself. You build up walls because of fear but through Christ you can overcome that fear.

Be different; God created you as an individual and that is how you are supposed to live. We all interpret things and react differently. Let God be you role model in life and you can’t go wrong.

The truth is: pain is part of life; it teaches us who our true friends are, makes us stronger and brings us closer to God.

Eternal, true peace is found only in Christ. I know that I’m a Christian but so many times the reason I’ve lost my peace is because I’ve drifted away from Him and how to get it back?
Immerse myself in God’s love and in His Word.
